Hey mama, welcome back! It feels so good to reconnect with you here.
Today’s blog is a little different—it’s not about strategies or systems but about life, transitions, and showing up even when the path feels unclear.
If you’re in a season of uncertainty, wondering how to take the next step when you don’t know what’s ahead, this one’s for you.
The Power of Taking the Next Step
As we step into 2025, I wish I could tell you I’ve got everything planned out, that my goals are crystal clear, and that I feel fully prepared for what’s ahead. But the truth is, I don’t. For the first time in years, I’m stepping into a new year with more questions than answers.
And you know what? That’s okay.
I’ve realized that life often mirrors parenting. Think about how kids always ask,
What’s the plan? Where are we going? What’s next?
But all we’re asking them to do is put their shoes on. That’s where I am right now—learning to trust God with the full picture and focusing on putting my shoes on.
From Faith-Founded to Faith-Forward
One of the biggest shifts I’m making this year is moving my business from being faith-founded to faith-forward. My faith has always been the foundation of everything I do, but I feel called to lead more boldly with it.
This means being unapologetic about letting Jesus guide my business. It means stepping into a kingdom-driven mission, focusing on impact over hustle, and showing up as the woman God has called me to be.
If you’ve ever felt scared to take bold steps in your faith or business, know that you’re not alone. This journey is stretching me in ways I never expected, but it’s also bringing me closer to the purpose God has for my life.
Reflecting on 2024: Growth, Challenges, and Breakthroughs
Last year was a year of transformation, and I want to share a few key milestones with you:
- Broadening My Audience: In March, I made the decision to expand my focus from mom photographers to all mom business owners. This shift has allowed me to serve a wider audience and align my business with my true calling.
- Launching the Organized CEO Bootcamp: This six-week program has been a game-changer, helping mompreneurs create clarity and structure in their businesses. While I’m still figuring out what’s next for my programs, this bootcamp is definitely part of the bigger picture.
- Investing in Myself: I took a leap of faith by joining a high-ticket mastermind. This decision pushed me to rethink how I approach growth—focusing on exponential impact without adding more hustle.
Each of these moments has been a stepping stone on my journey, helping me uncover what’s next while trusting the process.
Balancing Motherhood and Business
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of prioritizing what matters most. For me, that’s my family.
Homeschooling has always been part of our lives, but this year, I’ve been more intentional about creating clear boundaries between work and school. I want my kids to know that their education and our time together are just as important as my business goals.
It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. If you’re juggling motherhood and business, I want to encourage you to give yourself grace. You’re doing enough, mama.
A Big Announcement: TPG Live 2025
Now, let’s talk about something I’m incredibly excited about—TPG Live 2025!
This April, I’m hosting a faith-based event for mom business owners who are ready to trade the world’s hustle for kingdom-driven impact. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience with inspiring speakers, powerful sessions, and the chance to connect with other like-minded women.
If you’re ready to align your business with God’s purpose and step into a season of peace and clarity, I’d love for you to join us. Get all the details at The Purpose Gathering Live Workshop
Embracing the Messy Middle
One of the biggest takeaways from this season is learning to embrace the messy middle. Life and business don’t have to be perfect to be impactful. Sometimes, all we can do is take the next step and trust that God will reveal the rest in His time.
Moving forward, I’m committed to showing up consistently—even if it’s messy, even if I don’t have all the answers. I want to share the real, raw journey of being a mom and a business owner.
Mama, if you’re in a season of uncertainty, I want you to know that you’re not alone. Take a deep breath, trust the process, and focus on the next step in front of you.
I’d love to hear where you are on your journey. Send me a message on Instagram at @thepurposegathering, or join me in person at TPG Live 2025.
Remember, you’ve got this. I’m here rooting for you every step of the way.
Until next time, keep shining your light and trusting in the plan God has for you.
