Do You Struggle With Marketing Your Business?

Wishing that the clients would just continually roll in effortlessly? I mean that would just be the dream… Am I right?

Let us help you make that dream a reality. In today’s podcast episode, I’m so excited to introduce you to one of my closest friends, who happens to be a marketing genius, and amazing website and brand designer, Jessica McNichol.

She is going to break it down for us today, bust the myth that marketing is too complicated and scary, and give us some practical tips for planning, executing, tracking and evaluating our marketing strategies and how to know when to ditch the ones that aren’t working.

What is Effective Marketing?

  • Defining what you’re trying to do
  • Making a plan to do it
  • Evaluating that you got it done

Data is key when it comes to marketing.

In order to understand if something is effective you have to have a measurable goal. Be super specific to exactly what you want to do. Do you want to grow your customer base by a certain number? Reach a certain revenue goal?

If we don’t have an idea of what we are trying to reach that we don’t know what we are working towards. If we don’t ever look at it to see if it’s helping us get to where we are going, then we might not be using our time wisely.

Ask yourselves these questions:

  • What is working?
  • What isn’t working?
  • Evaluate how much time is it taking?
  • Focus on 3 marketing strategies but choose 1 main thing
  • What can I tweak?
